A combination of 32 potential video hub input ports can be programmed to create a 16 channel TV/AV Cat-5 distribution system. Front panel differential inputs connect to remotely located display devices such as plasma screens, LCDs or desktop PCS, while rear panel baseband video and audio inputs from local AV sources such as DVDs, VCRs and cameras. MediaStar Pro provides a scalable approach to managing TV and AV distribution over Cat-5/6/UTP cabling allowing up to 180 channels to be configured via a comprehensive software management suite. Systems can be co-located or geographically dispersed to create a scalable system with unlimited users and end points.
Pro can combine up to 180 channels including incoming satellite signals and MATV/CATV feeds, content from antennas, decoder units, cameras, DVDs and VCRs over an RF backbone for distribution to plasmas, LCDs, desktop PCs and other remote display devices. Specific viewing access and system privileges can be given to individual users, groups of users, or globally. Rights, security, recording of events and monitoring of diagnostic functions can all be maintained within an easy software administrator for efficient management and control.
