Cabletime Launching New 2012 Model
of MediaStar QuickPlay at NAB2012

Mt. Arlington, NJ, April 2, 2012 - New Jersey-based Cabletime USA, the fast-growing designer and manufacturer of the MediaStar range of products, will be launching the new 2012 model of the MediaStar QuickPlay at NAB2012 (April 16 - April 19, 2012, Las Vegas, NV) in Booth SU10519.

MediaStar QuickPlay is a plug and play signage solution that delivers HD signage to one or more display screens without need of a centrally managed system or network. Software supplied with QuickPlay allows the user to save and sequence digital signage content preconfigured on their PC or laptop to a USB memory stick and then simply load and display the content onto any screen equipped with a QuickPlay unit.

“QuickPlay is based on our proven Evolution technology,” says David LeMonte-Shepherd, President, Cabletime USA. “The difference is that MediaStar Evolution is a powerful content delivery system for networks but MediaStar QuickPlay stands alone, which makes signage easily accessible to any organization; large or small. A simple single-screen application enables users to sequence and manage their video, signage and digital media assets and then play them out across their screens. Content could be as simple as a welcome screen in an office reception, or music videos played out across several screens in a retail outlet. ”

Cabletime is making QuickPlay available at just $497 to the client. “The product is totally solid state, is easy to use, easy to install and offers outstanding value for money,” continued LeMonte-Shepherd. “Its compact size means that it can be mounted easily and has very low power consumption.”

Cabletime will also be displaying its full line of MediaStar Evolution encoders and decoders, which make up Cabletime’s powerful IP-based delivery solution for streamed media, IPTV and AV content over networks.
