Each Hub can house up to 16 'hot swappable' Quad Outlet Blades (Part 560), each blade has 4 RJ45 outputs to support four independent Pro receiver units at distances of up to 800 meters (2,600 ft). The receiver units are line powered from the hub and serve TVs, large screen displays or PCs
Multiple hubs can be co-located or geographically dispersed to support 1000s of users under single administrative control.
Viewers utilise Pro Micro TV Settop Receiver Units (Part 507), Micro PC Desktop Receiver Units (Part 508), and Micro Access Receiver Units (Part 512) to enable versatile and scalable TV/AV delivery over a Cat-5/UTP cabling infrastructure.
An RF Headend (Part KUF series) combines incoming satellite signals and MATV/CATV feeds, with local content from decoder units, (such as the MediaStar 780 Media Decoders), cameras and DVDs to form a RF backbone for distribution to the Pro Hub.
Configuration, control and monitoring of the Pro Hub can be easily accomplished using an IP or RS232/RS485 connection from the video hub to a Pro Hub Controller and Pro Administration software (Part 700).
