We recently joined the SRT Alliance which is an open source initiative that is focused on enabling the development of the SRT protocol to the point that it can be instrumental in overcoming the challenges of low latency streaming.

‘Reseller’ – is really a moniker from the past. From a time when large and small AV and IT specialists could actually make money from buying a solution and selling it for margin. Those days are long gone, though the market term is still going strong, and now resellers, quite rightly, expect the systems that they install to work smoothly, and be fit for the purpose with which they were specified. Given the tighter margins they now work with, they don’t expect to have to keep returning to fix problems.

Where previously stadium managers were concerned with ensuring plans were in place to keep an income stream going during the ‘off season’, now there is increased pressure to ensure maximum revenues are being derived from every match, game or event that the stadium hosts all year round.
